Tuning clutch package
This tuning clutch replaces the old diaphragm clutch in the M53/M54 engines
- for high loads
- for noticeably better power transmission from the engine to the gearbox
- 1.6 mm plate spring, new design, construction like M500/M700
- steel discs 0.6 mm
- reinforced friction linings
- pre-assembled ready for installation
- assembled with original tools
Torque values:
- Nut M12x1.5 -> 25Nm
- Screws M5x12 -> 7Nm
Note:
The package is exchanged 1:1 for the old clutch. The original driver is removed, and the clutch package is installed instead. If the clutch package is dragging, it may be necessary to remove the casting grade or use an S50 clutch cover.
