Conversion kit long 1st gear for 5-speed transmission
This conversion kit was put together for the conversion of a standard 5-speed transmission to the long 1st gear.
By converting to the long first gear, the gear engagement between 1st and 2nd gear is significantly improved. This leads to better acceleration.
In addition, the optimized tooth geometry and the significantly wider gears have greatly increased durability.
- Gear width 9.5mm instead of 7.7mm
- optimized profile shift, thus better tooth geometry
- therefore significantly higher load capacity
- adapted translation (12:42 instead of 10:44)
- smaller gear jump, better acceleration
Please note that the engine housing must be reworked in the area of the kickstarter pinion
