Racing Crankshaft 85ccm - 105ccm
Our new racing crankshafts in full counterweight construction are currently the best crankshafts for your Simson engine. In the completely newly manufactured crankshaft, we were able to realize many constructive advantages over a subsequently modified Simson crankshaft. The 1 mm wider crank webs lay the foundation for optimal balancing and higher rigidity (stronger press fit). With the help of the pressed aluminum plugs and the lighter connecting rod, the balancing is adapted to our S85 piston. This results in a low-vibration engine run, increased rev-happiness, and longer bearing life. For the lower bearing, we rely on a high-quality, silver-plated needle bearing (13 mm wide) with silver-plated thrust washers. This allows the upper thrust washers in the piston to be omitted and a 16 mm wide needle bearing to be accommodated.
