Racing Crankshaft Long Stroke 48 mm
With our new long-stroke crankshaft, we expand our product range for Simson with another highlight. In the completely newly manufactured crankshaft, we were able to realize many constructive advantages over a retrofitted Simson crankshaft. The basis for optimal balancing and higher rigidity (stronger press fit) is laid with the 1 mm wider crank cheeks. With the help of the pressed-in aluminum plugs and the lighter connecting rod, the balancing is precisely adapted to our S85 piston. This results in a low-vibration engine run, increased revving ability, and longer bearing life. For the lower bearing, we rely on a high-quality, silver-plated needle bearing (13 mm wide) with silver-plated thrust washers. This eliminates the need for the upper thrust washers in the piston, and a 16 mm wide needle bearing finds its place.
