Racing Crankshaft 85ccm - 105ccm Our new racing crankshafts in full cheek construction are currently the best crankshafts for your Simson engine. In the completely newly manufactured crankshaft, we were able to realize many constructive advantages compared to a subsequently converted Simson crankshaft. The 1 mm wider crank cheeks provide the basis for optimal balancing and higher rigidity (stronger press fit). With the help of the pressed-in aluminum plugs and the lighter connecting rod, the balancing is adjusted to our S85 piston. This results in a low-vibration engine run, increased revving ability, and longer bearing life. For the lower bearing, we use a high-quality, silver-plated needle bearing (13 mm wide) with silver-plated thrust washers. This allows the upper thrust washers in the piston to be omitted and a 16 mm wide needle bearing to be accommodated.
