Quick Release

Installation:
Remove left and right side covers, remove lock, dismantle locking hook. Screw the metal pin with nut into the engine case. Enlarge the hole in the right side cover to about 17mm, the hole in the left side cover usually fits. Insert the closure and screw on the locknut with thread locking compound, tighten by hand.
Hang the side cover at the bottom and clip the closure onto the ball head. If the mechanism does not engage, then unscrew the metal pin further. If there is a gap between the engine case and the side cover, screw the metal pin in further. After centering the metal pin, lock it with the nut.
Note:
We recommend lightly greasing the ball.
Due to the modification, access by third parties into the engine case is possible, no lock function!
Can also be used for other creative modifications. E.g., engine cover for Schwalbe, side panel SR4, etc.
