Be sure to read the complete instructions carefully before starting installation!
The ignition will only work correctly if both spark plugs are connected to the coils. So you cannot disconnect one spark plug to test. Because each output draws ground through the spark plug of the other output. If you really only want to test one side, the other coil output must be grounded. Then the circuit is like a single coil. If the current flow of one side is interrupted, either nothing happens, or the system gets ground from the nearest point.
You can also use a dual coil for engines with only one spark plug.
To do this, you only ground one output. You screw in a HT cable and connect it to a good ground (engine / chassis).
