Note:
- Gasoline and brake cleaner should be wiped off promptly to avoid any matte spots
- the cover should be carefully and evenly tightened to the engine housing
Important assembly note:
Use a maximum of 1.6mm plate spring and 5 lamella clutch!
A stronger plate spring or more lamellae will damage the abutment for the clutch cable! To fix the bearing piece for the speedometer cable with the spline pin, it is necessary to mount the bearing piece and then pre-drill with a 3mm drill.
Only then can the spline pin be driven in.
Otherwise, there is a risk of the cover cracking.
Do not lay the overflow hose from the carburetor over the lima cover and immediately remove any fuel residues on the engine block to avoid the cover becoming milky.
