The labeling on the housing reads 6 volts, but the horn also works with 12V!
The signal horn is pre-set at the factory and usually does not need further adjustment. However, it may be necessary to readjust the signal horn in order to adjust the pitch and volume.
This adjustment is made using the lower adjustment screw, between the two contact shoes, while the signal horn is being operated at the same time.
It is important to ensure that the lower adjustment screw is not pressed through the diaphragm, as this will damage it. Please do not work beyond the noticeable resistance, as this will result in a total failure.
Please then counter the adjustment screw again to apply the settings.

Das Problem mit den hupen ist immer das gleiche. Sie kommen an, werden verbaut, funktionieren und einen tag später geht wieder nichts mehr. Ich hatte schon mindestens 5 solcher hupen (aus Vape komplett sets oder einzeln) und bei allen das gleiche Problem.

Ich wollte mir eine neue Hupe gönnen, da die alte fast 50J. originale nicht mehr schön aussah. Diese Neue war schnell montiert und hupte auf anhieb, allerdings leiser als die originale. Nicht schlimm, sieht aber besser aus, da neu. Nach 2Wo. (vmtl. 5x gehupt), war Schluss. Die hintere, mittlere Einstellschraube ist komplett durch das Gehäuse gebrochen und in der Hupe verschwunden. Somit Schrott!
