Basic Engine Kit AKF, with Long 5-Speed Gearbox and 5-Plate Clutch
Includes ALL fundamental components for a robust engine!
Only a usable casing with side covers, as well as crankshaft and cylinder set of choice are needed.
All other parts from the woodruff key to the clutch lever up to the kickstarter shaft are included.
Kit contains a 5-speed gearbox:
- with a long 1st gear (significantly improved transition to 2nd gear)
- with a long 5th gear (24 teeth fixed gear / 32 teeth loose gear)
- with optimized shifting key
- comes partially assembled
Including 5-plate clutch:
- Tuning hub with retaining ring and reinforced plate spring 1.6mm
- 8-fold riveted clutch basket, straight-toothed (54/17)
- Needle-bearing clutch pressure plate (ZT-Tuning)
- Clutch discs A12 with reinforced driving lugs (torque capacity up to 20 Nm)
- Tuning clutch plates
- ZT Performance clutch plate
Other distinctive components:
- Gasket set Kautasit
- High-quality cylindrical roller bearings for extreme stress (crankshaft)
- Screwed shift drum pin
- Needle bearing for shift drum
- Optimized pivot lever

Note:
When using older casings, the clearance of the kickstarter pinion must be checked.
The 5-speed gearbox with a long 1st gear requires a bit more space, so the casing needs to be slightly milled in this area.
The delivered engine kit consists largely of individual parts! The assembly should always be carried out by a skilled Simson engine builder with suitable tools. (e.g., engine assembly stand, heating mushroom, gearshift adjustment tool, etc.)
During the first hours of operation, the engine should be moved gently and preferably with the fuel mixture 1:33. (We explicitly recommend Motul 800 2T Road Racing)

Sehr guter Bausatz,hat alles schön zusammengepasst. Im Satz sind die abgeänderten Tuningteile wie Schaltwalze mit Nadellager, Kurbelwellenlager, Kickstarterrad 5 Gang und Kupplungspaket enthalten ,dafür sollte man eine Einbauanleitung mitliefern!Für mich war es kein Problem da ich vom Fach bin. Da die youtube Videos sich nur auf die originalen Teile beziehen
